Originally Junghans Real Estate & Insurance Agency. Al Junghans started in 1953 in a little office in the building to the south of the current location. Al built the still existing office in 1955. Gary Junghans, Al’s son, started to work at the Real Estate and Insurance Agency in 1973. Gary bought the business in 1976. He stopped selling real estate & insurance in 1993, in an effort to focus solely on property management. In that same year Junghans Agency, Inc. was formed. In 2010 Gary sold the property management business to his 2 sons, Clint and Matt Junghans. They are now the 3rd generation of Junghans to serve the Junction City/Ft. Riley area.
